About Me

Learn What Makes Me Special

From teacher to Instructional Designer, I am passionate in helping people learn.

When I decided to become a teacher over 18 years ago, I had little idea where that decision would take me. I learned that I loved teaching, and that I loved my students, but I also learned that I loved creating training materials. My recent dive into blended and online learning ignited a stirring desire to learn more about this exploding career. As much as I loved my time in public education, I instantly knew a new path had been created for me. Instructional Design and eLearning allow me to not just think outside of the box, but to actually work outside of the box.

This led me to exiting the classroom and pursuing a new career in eLearning and Instructional Design.

Using everything I've learned over the last two decades, I'm now looking for work as an Instructional Designer, so that I can help organizations create best-in-class training experiences. I look forward to meeting the employees in the company that I will call my new home!

What Do I Do?

Today, I utilize the skills I learned from the classroom to help organizations design and develop best-in-class learning experiences. Whether I'm creating an instructor-led workshop, an interactive eLearning course, or a simple job aid, my goal is to design learning experiences that people love and that deliver measurable results.

Using what I learned from the classroom and my time in Public Health, I design effective learning experiences that people love and that deliver results.
